The 130th AGM of Carlton Cornwall Bowls was held on Saturday 24th June at 1.00pm
The Meeting was well attended, with 56 members present.
We thank Peter Whiting and Wayne Motu for their time and service on the Board, and welcome new Board Members John Crummey, Chong du Cheng, and Bev Crowe.
We thank all nominees for putting their name forward, and offering their time to the Club.
We congratulate Bev Crowe on her receipt of Life Membership, well earned and well deserved!
Prizegiving was held immediately following the AGM, it was lovely to see some of our junior and newer members accepting trophies, alongside the usual high achievers! Congratulations to all those who received their club titles, not an easy feat by any means!
Marina Green was also presented with a lovely floral arrangement to thank her for her outstanding efforts and tireless service to the club over the year, organising catering for everything from Roll Ups, to Club Champs and beyond
The dynamic duo of Marina Green and Monica Platt (ably supported by their team of helpers) provided a beautiful afternoon tea for all of those in attendance, and we thank them very much for spoiling our members with such a lovely spread!
