Blind Jacks success in South Africa

At the recent International Blind Bowls World Championships held in Cape Town, South Africa the Blind Jacks Mixed Pairs (B3) team of David Stallard (director Peter Blick) and Sue Curran, Waikato (director Ann Muir) won Silver.
With South Africa winning Gold and Canada winning Bronze.
Winning Silver in Cape Town along with the Bronze medal at the 2016 IBD World Championships and 4th in the 2014 Commonwealth Games were significant factors in this pairs combination being selected in the Para-Sport Team for the forthcoming Trans Tasman and 8 Nations events on the Gold Coast in May 2017.
